Angela's aura is of a dazzling movie star from a time when actors had their own style and influenced fashion to this day. She brings glamour to men's boxer shorts with a fur wrap and over-sized glasses, and an edge to her grandmother's 1920's hat with feather trim on her skirt-as-dress and fringed sandals. Angela freely turns the mundane to the extraordinary. I first met her at a "hot" evening art event in NYC, where she was wearing her white eyelet communion skirt as a dress. She takes a lot of inspiration for her style and designs from graphics and interiors - it was a first for me to see someone so interested in the "hoof" of the sole of her Chloe boots. I love Angela's unabashed showcasing of her "favorite designer's" skirt, her roommate Mattia, while we were filming her. When you see Angela in Mattia's Azzedine structurally-inspired skirt over Angela's Rick Owens color-inspired seductive and classy one-piece, you will be enchanted.
