Bienvenidos…. we’re Ruby and Summer Spiro.
We’re sisters from an itsy bitsy surf town called Carlsbad, California but have since a year ago, schlepped up to the valley of Los Angeles to sing and play our music in closer vicinity of the suit & tie-wearing locksmiths.
We live in a guest house in which we painted white, draped vintage table cloths over the couches, turned the previous owners’ grow-house into a closet, strung up christmas lights, and warmly welcomed the squirrels and birds that lovingly parade on our rooftop.
We write music about our life, finding the beauty in the struggle, the celebration of hope, the side-effects of love and this ever-changing world.
For us, songwriting, singing, fashion, filmmaking, painting… they’re all the same. They are the reflection of your soul. An attempt to visualize the invisible. We like to wear what we feel. We like to wear nature.
