If there were a “Margot” from The Royal Tenenbaums on this site, it would be Sophie. Lying on her bed in her “Mormon” dress, in a sea of accumulated florals that she whips together into what could be called a “royal” mess, she gets it totally right. Ankle socks with sandals, plaids on plaids, she is gutsy and says that she gets intoxicated by one thing for periods of time. I find her unleashed stream of consciousness with dressing intoxicating. Sophie finds her own balance; it’s playful and arty, and harmonious like a collage. Similar to Margot, she adds needed character to pin straight hair by adding something “undone” or messy, and to a flannel shirt, a retro fur. Liberated from all rules, Sophie’s hair is always natural, she wears minimal makeup, she doesn’t own a clothing iron, and whether a simple black dress or a “garish” combo, it’s imbued with making the “ordinary into the sublime.”
Her eyebrows look pretty perfect for being liberated from the rules, but maybe she was blessed with natural arch perfection?
Nice strong directional presence. She acheives some of the Frida Kahlo regal, subtle floral done-ness (but as said, no unibrow here
).
Beautifull…Love the fur…X
I absolutely adore her! She has amazing style and a pretty rad attitude toward fashion. I have the same floral cropped top she was wearing and would not have thought to pair it with those animal print pants- totally hot. So glad I came across her video- very inspirational!

[...] StyleLikeU I’ve been obsessing over this website lately. StyleLikeU interviews different people from different parts of the world about why they dress the way they do and what they have in their closets. I love the parts about what each items mean to a person or what their inspirations are. One of my favorite interviews was from today, and I can relate to it “I don’t think I have a very coherent sense of style. I just like what I like. I become very infatuated with things.” -Sophie Mascatello [...]

I love the part when she says people who have a problem with patterns not matching need to just get over it
Love her closet!
