Edna Chase said that “Fashion can be bought. Style one must possess.” This quote so embodies Rachel. She knows how to do that classic and understated thing that makes heads turn. Rachel possesses a mysterious and seductive quality that is more reminiscent of the French then the girl from the suburbs who I went to High School with. There is power in her sense of subtle detail, like how she ties a knot in her simple h & m scarf, how her ballet flats get better the more they become one with her feet, and how she buys things from the same store that her grandmother shops at and makes it look like the newest thing that Urban Outfitters will want to knock off. Her style is effortless.
