Every once in a while you come across someone whose style is so clean and mannerisms are so refined that you realize the power of the word gentleman, in the most classic sense of the word. When I came to shoot Milton, I was struck by how charming, courteous, and low-key he was. He channels the mystery and magnetism of his idols Paul Newman, Marlon Brando, and James Dean. Like them, he embodies the idea that there is an art to dressing simply and having an impact. Milton understands which jacket has the perfect lines without needing to be overstated, and the finishing touch of the time-honored lace-up shoe. It’s refreshing to be reminded that less can be more.
very cool xx
Wow! I’ve just discovered this site and have looked through a few style profiles, but this is the first one that’s really inspired me. I love the timelessness and general coolness of his style, and his clean/rugged aesthetic makes real sense to me. I love the miscellaneous things like the DVD collection and the boxer gloves also – he really does seem destined for great things. Thanks for sharing!
Whenever I see this dawg out he always looks badass. Glad I’m not the only one who has noticed.

[...] Milton Pusey and Kenyon Phillips have a lot of things in common. They’re both performers with infectious, confident charismas. The idea that everything — and everywhere — is a stage comes easy to them. They’re also both Men with a capital ‘M’, even though they embrace masculinity from two very different directions. Find out what happens when they swap the classic masculinity of Dean and Brando for the manic, omnisexual aplomb of Adam Ant and Jagger and vice versa. Will Kenyon survive the latest battle with his old nemesis, Ralph Lauren? Will Milton be able to find something — anything — in Kenyon’s wardrobe that will actually cover his torso? Find the answers to these questions (and a few more we bet you haven’t even thought to ask) in the video above. Along the way, they confuse their friends and bandmates, record a few songs, run into some familiar SLU faces and learn something new about themselves and each other. Spoiler alert: We got Kenyon to wear a shirt for almost an entire day. VIEW COMMENTS HIDE COMMENTS | COMMENTS (0) | SHARE [...]
