Black, Necklaces, Vintage

"I don't really want to be noticed for what I'm wearing as much as I want to be noticed for what I'm doing." Marika Wilson

As much as Marika loves clothes, she wants to be noticed for what she is doing more than what she is wearing. As a result, Marika’s style reflects her depth – each piece has the feeling of being the pinnacle of what it is. The crown jewel of granny boots and the preeminent man’s vintage shirt with the perfectly worn polka dot cuffs make a marked impression, but the effect is inconspicuous. Dark, textured, and often richly decomposed, Marika’s layers have the suggestion of something medieval and mysterious. But it is her big, black eyes peering out from under her bowler hat that most symbolizes her penetrating aura.
