Liz had emailed me the quote “Style is the Dress of Thoughts” by Lord Chesterfield, after I had filmed her for this site. I couldn’t have found a better way to describe her and StylelikeU…the whole meaning behind this site and the people featured just rolled off of her tongue. She articulates with such ease, profound thoughts behind her fashion designs (you can hear about it on her extended video on her detailed page) and style, and her creations exhibit a rare sophistication for someone in the early days of their career. However, what fascinates me the most is how “big picture” she is about life. Surrounded by her spectacular fashion illustrations and inventive clothing designs, she is as light as she is serious, when she laughs that she could throw it all away and become and a marine biologist. Liz is as obsessed as the rest of us, but all with a healthy touch of irony.
