Four months pregnant, Kristen does not miss a beat in her bright and whimsical aesthetic of pattern on pattern on pattern, no dystopic and apocolyptic fashion here. In silk on silks, with a Rachel Comey top and Resurrection dress turned into a skirt with her own, TenOverSix, leopard shoes, Kristen echos her eclectic and sunny Hollywood Hills dreamscape. The entire length of what is now probably about to be her new son’s room is lined with racks of rich fabrics and volumes of shoes, revealing Kristen’s obsession with sexy, but practical and classic heels. It reminds me of her state of the art interior walls that are lined with plants and flowers like exterior landscapes that you would see in rural fields or on stone walls. Since moving to LA from NYC, enviornment has become a big source of inspiration to Kristen. This is most obvious in her Anndra Neen earthy oversized metal cuff and ’60′s flintstone couture earrings that echos both the breath taking crudeness of the surrounding canyons and the continued shaping of her mind’s eye. Can’t wait to see what motherhood will create (or give birth to?)
