"I love clothes, but it really is more of an art piece. Shapes, colors, textures, it really is like a painting or a sculpture." Jessica Bobince

At one point early in her video, Jessica recalls a moment in middle school where she decided to say “whatever” to people’s judgements about her style. Flash forward to today and she is striking in her uncompromisingly fearless and adventurous attitude towards costuming herself every day. Her clothes represent a complete immersion into an unbound fantasy world where anything goes. From walking into a dinner party in a mask, morphing a kid’s dinosaur costume into her own version of haute couture, to wearing a $1 crinoline skirt as a way to circumvent Comme Des Garcons, I am truly inspired by her unfettered imagination.

its funny to say how cute she is.. she comes off as cute but her style is hardly “cute” .. its an earnest love of the clothing and art of dressing.. i think

This is my kind of thinker when it comes to style; I think sculpturally as well. It’s abundantly clear she has a well-developed sense of style. Fantastic!

Wow wow wow! I love her… Sooo creative! What a SLU hidden treasure… I love how she puts her fanny pack over her shoes… and how she ties ribbons around her body under her clothes… and how her hairstyle was inspired by sushi rolls… She is quite charming.
