"When I first cut my hair short, I was looking for inspiration to take in to my hair dresser. I found Jean Seberg, and I fell in love." Hannah Dilworth

Hannah chopped her hair off to feel edgier and and like less of a “plain Jane.” I would say it was the right move, because all I could think about when shooting her (in the ultra-classic Breton shirt and belted cardigan) were her lookalike screen idols, Jean Seberg and Mia Farrow, whom she adores for their relaxed, unfussy vibe. Still, it takes more than just cutting one’s hair to achieve Hannah’s charm and way of looking so effortless – it takes a comfort in your skin and a grandmother whom she never witnessed leaving the house without looking complete. Much of her grandmother’s wardrobe has landed in Hannah’s closet, such as her brilliant jewel-toned shoe collection of Ferragamo and Bottega Veneta loafers that make everything look new again (she calls them “her art”). Speaking of color, Hannah’s favorite dress is her poppy-red flowy one. Its sophistication and ease embodies both her urban and beachy side at once (she was photographed by The Sartorialist in it). I love that Hannah refers to wanting to look like a traveler with a trench and suitcase as her source of inspiration – it conjures up images of a Truffaut movie, where life, style, and story are inseparable.

One of my favorites on this site, I have such a style crush on her! I love how her dressing is easygoing and relaxed, yet she always looks impeccable. The red dress is great but I think I like the floral one even more!

wow!!! now THIS is great style! i like how hannah combines retro and classic, but adds her own contemporary, easy-going vibe. so fresh! i was instantly drawn to her jean seberg reference, and her cute pixie cut (i have the same haircut and love it as much as she adores hers.)

I love this girl and her style. so refreshing. I love her references to her grandmother- you can really tell how much she adored her. love her vintage shoes, and how she mixes her pieces to look so relaxed yet chic.

The red dress made me swoon. And her Jane Seberg hair fits her to a tee.
