From the moment we are born, the media bombards us with exclusive and unattainable notions of beauty. Taught to worship youth, blindly consume, idolize celebrities, and hide behind filters, we are conditioned to hate our bodies, fear aging, prioritize fame over authenticity, and spend our lives on a treadmill to fit in and be "liked."

Enter StyleLikeU, the radically honest media company created by mother-daughter duo, Elisa Goodkind and Lily Mandelbaum, creating highly diverse docu-series centered on style, self-image and identity.

Growing up, Lily struggled with body image in a media landscape lacking representation of curvy women like her. Meanwhile, Elisa worked as a fashion editor with work published in magazines including InStyle, Vanity Fair, Self and Glamour.

After 25+ years in the industry, Elisa witnessed its shift from a home for individuality into a marketing machine built on exploiting people’s insecurities, including those of her daughter.

Instead of accepting this disempowering status quo, together, Elisa and Lily created StyleLikeU as an alternative space for radical self-expression, diversity, and acceptance.

Through featuring the stories of unapologetic role models, whose self-acceptance empowers viewers to find it in themselves, StyleLikeU's shows provide a shame-free space that challenges societal boxes and taboos around aging, body image, gender, race, sexuality, abilities, and more.

StyleLikeU connects people through the healing power of vulnerability, truth-sharing, and the unshakeable bravery to be yourself.
